Alstroemeria, also known as the Peruvian Lily is grown all the year round and their flowers come in many different colours, patterns and varieties. Named after the Swede Claus von Alstroemer who sent back seeds from South America. Each stem of Alstroemeria produces an abundance of small lily type flowers. They grow well in Guernsey and have a good vase life.
